VolunTEEN Program
During the summer months the VolunTEEN program offers students ages 13-18 an opportunity to experience, many for the first time, the tremendous joys and benefits of volunteerism.

DRMC Auxiliary
Complementing the day to day work of the volunteer program is the DRMC Auxiliary Foundation; the not-for-profit fundraising and charitable outreach arm of the hospital volunteer services. The Auxiliary has been in existence in the 1950s. A primary source of funds is the sales from our attractive Gift Shop in the Sinatra Tower Lobby. Additionally, many other creative and diverse fundraisers fill out the AuxiliaryBG(Bs year.

Application for funding are evaluated during the fourth quarter each year for allocations to be made in January of the following year. Some examples of donations made include:
-Annual 2 year scholarships give to well-deserving students who have contributed at least 100 hours to our VolunTEEN program.
-Funds for patients and family outreach through our Case Management
-Well in the Desert food programs
-Project Linus which makes quilts for patients and the homeless
-Desert Comprehensive Breast Center grant , offering mammograms and services to local uninsured women
